Default Recommend me a twitter client please!

I'm looking for a good Twitter client for my Xperia Play.

I liked how the official one works, however, it seems to be a complete battery killer as since installing it my phone barely makes it through a working day, and aside from using a different twitter app (previously I'd been using tweetcaster), my usage and charging habits had been not been any different.

So can people tell me which client they like and why? It's hard to choose and there's so many of them!

Tweetdeck is great, and allows you to connect Facebook and Foursquare too. The best thing about Tweetdeck that I've noticed is that you can get a unified stream (column) for your newsfeed of all your Social Networks. You can also get a unified stream for all your mentions and facebook notifications.

If you've tried Tweetdeck App for Chrome, well its exactly like that. It also allows you to have separate columns per list too.

I like Tweetcaster Pro. I like it because you can move it to SD card.

I also used Tweetcaster. I like the fact I see the number of unread tweets when I open the app and I can temporarily "zip" people I follow if I don't want to hear from them (but don't want to unfollow).

Twidroyd for me! Love the widget, and it also allows you to cross post to facebook.

I used to use TweetDeck, but the Facebook integration is severely lacking.

The only update TweetDeck recently received was to remove functionality without any bug fixes, so I dumped it and moved to Seesmic.

I just use Seesmic as a Twitter client.
