Confused Block Telemarketers

My cell phone gets like 5-10 spam calls a day and i have Registered it on the Do Not CAll list.
I was looking at 2 apps to help
PrivacyStar is like $20
CallControl is like $8
I see they both update their apps pretty regularly which is important to me.
i also use Whitepages with Callerid which works maybe 20% of the time for Caller id purposes ..which app would be the best to block spam calls ?
Thanks

I had a really nice detailed post but it looks like it didn't submit

So to be short and sweet (ask if you want details again), you can do any of the following:
1. Buy either of those apps
2. Change your voicemail to first have a fax machine beep or one of those "I'm sorry, the number you have dialed has been disconnected" or a busy signal for about 10 seconds. This wards off spam callers and they put down the line's dead
3. If it's your Google Voice (GV) number, look at GV's new feature to have your phone not receive calls from the user-created spam call database
4. Port your phone# to GV for a one-time $10 if it's your actual cell phone # having the issues. Make sure you only do this out of contract so it doesn't terminate early!
5. Add those #s to your "block caller" list on your phone. I believe this is a native Android feature, or at least on the phones I've had.

I had much more details but will only post them if you find this relevant lol! Best of luck, friend

Or take legal action against them because you're registered on the Do Not Call list. Report them through the Do Not Call registry.

You don't have the 4 minutes it takes to report a number?

I HIGHLY recommend Extreme Call Blocker Droid ($5.99)

https://market.android.com/details?id=com.greythinker.punchback&feature=relat ed_apps

I was experiencing similar issues and I settled and purchased this app 2 months ago after researching similar apps on the market.

IMO it's the best of it's kind and the price is reasonable and the support is top-notch.

Very customizable and you can even download ringtones.

Hope this helps.
