Astro file manager browser integratiom

I seem to be having an issue with the astro file manager. There's an option in the preferences tab that allows you to enable downloading of any file through the phones browser. Problem is, it doesn't seem to want to work for me. I've tried downloading .zip files before and after I enabled it, but still get the same "unsupported content" result. Odd thing is, I even have a .zip handling app but am still unable to download .zip files.

Can anyone help shed some light as to why the option isn't working for me? I'd greatly appreciate it.

I don't think it worked for me either. I use Download Crutch. I have been able to download any file since.

Where do i find download crutch? I searched on the market and couldnt find it.
