Default Speed dial on Dialer One

I get the message:-

"Speed dial list is empty. You can create new speed dial in context menu of contact"

Yes I know it is empty because I cannot see how to add a speed dial to a number.

Can someone please tell how Dialer One can be populated with speed dials on a San Francisco?

Long press on the contact name, it will bring up a menu...speed dial is on that.

That is the way to set it up... however, that doesn't work when I want to make a change on my speed dial... how do we do that..... Cheers...

Same way. Just pick a new speed dial number, it will replace the old contact # with the new contact #.
You can also go into settings/speed dial and long press to delete a speed dial number if that's what you're asking.
