Default Backlight Application

I just inherited a Dell Streak 5 and I was wondering if there is an application that can keep the back light on when the unit is on external power.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Check to see if you have this option:

Settings - Applications - Development - Stay Awake.

If that option is missing for you, perhaps someone knows of an app that will do basically the same thing and will point you in the right direction.

Hi I am curious to know why do you want to keep the backlight on when you are on external power ? I presume external power means your phone is plug into a power socket charging ?
