Default Sweeterhome theme?

I downloaded a theme and have since changed almost all of the colors, text, sizes, etc. But when I open a new block it comes up in the formatting I downloaded and about 5 steps later copying and pasting it looks the way I want it.

How can I set my preferred formatting (new blocks) as default?

Here is a screen shot. I prefer the simple black/yellow text blocks I've constructed. A default theme block is shown in the light blue prior to my edits.
Thanks.

I don't think you can change the default block look.

Maybe I'm reading it wrong, but are you creating a new block and then copy/pasting all the individual settings from another block into it?

You can just copy/paste an existing block with the formatting you want and then just change the text or what it controls if it is a springboard.

You are reading it just right. I had to create a default block and then paste all the formatting into it.

Then, I figured out how to copy/paste as you've described. Easier, but still a pain.

Maybe the better way to ask my question is:

How do I generate a "new theme" from a blank template?

Menu button -> New theme.

That purple, rounded-corner block IS the default for the entire application.
