Music genres with numeric characters cause problems
I use an HTC Wildfire, Android 2,2 and iSynr to sync my phone music with iTunes.
In iTunes I have genres like "50s" and "60s", but when these arrive on my phone, they change to weird genre names like "Top 40" and "Darkwave".
I saw in some discussion that this could be because the Media Store can not handle ID3v2 tags and changing them to ID3v1 tags would solve the problem. It didn't and I also do not believe that this is the problem as the ID3v1 tags are restricted to a limited number of prescribes tags and when I changed my numeric tags to "Fifties" and "Sixties", they worked fine. (And these tags are definitely not on the ID3v1 list).
Any suggestions?
