Smile Hands Free Texting
I just published a Hands-Free texting app called Shout. Just say a phrase like "Text Doug With I am On My Way Home" and Shout will search your contacts for matches, confirm "Sending 'I am on my way home' to 'Doug Hansknecht', correct?". Simply tap the Big Green Yes button and you're done.

Can't find it so I assume its not compatible with the hero running android1.5

That's correct. Unfortunately, Text To Speech requires Android 1.6 and above. Do you thik there would be interest in a v
ersion that does not speak aloud but supports 1.5?

that is realy cool, nice job.
What would it entail to have it voice to text?
You run your text to speech, do your message and then it's shown on screen as the text you about to send.

OK, Shout for 1.5 has been published. Same as Shout, but without the text-to-speech that requires 1.6 or later...

Any application you buy from the android marketplace is on a trial basis since you can return the application for a full refund within 24 hours

24 hours is always an adequate amount of time to test an app
