I need a different browser, or one that act in a manner that doesn't make me want to visit a developer and break his fingers.

the browser on the Bionic makes me crazy, if i hit cancel(the back arrow on bottom of the phone) after opening it, it just goes to the last page I looked at, even if it was two weeks ago.

I need a browser, that only remembers the pages Ive been to this session, and hitting the back button (on the bottom of the phone, not in the browser) will only take me back to my home page, then close (yes close, not run in the background) after it gets back to Home. The browser on my Eris, did this perfectly.

Any suggestions?

Dolphin HD.

If you hit the settings button while in it you can exit the browser (has an exit button to stop it from running). You also have the options of dumping all cache and history every time you exit it with the back button.

Granted this is also done with Dolphins exit button as long as you have it checked to do so in Dolphin settins. Also has a home button (set to your homepage of choice) etc to get you moving around the web no problem.
