Default Android Calendar Function - or lack of

I used to use a great app called SlideScreen. It had a one page view of appointments, messages, facebook plus a lots of other stuff. Google changed the ball-game that stopped applications from accessing the calendar information, thus SlideScreen was removed from the Marketplace (and my phone). Now I am unable to find any calendar/appointment application that will keep up to date with appointments. It loads the one that are sitting in your calendar when you load the application, but none that I have tried continue to update.

Has anybody else hit this problem?

Nope - I use Business Calendar Free by Appgenix and I'm having no problems that I can see.

Moving your post to the Applications section where you may get more expert advice tho.

I also use Business Calendar Free by Appgenix! I like the semi transparent widgets i load on my home screen (Dell streak) with so much room. i can expand the widget to look really nice.

The transparent widget is very interative:








Click on a date to get to an Agend View.
