Default Notepad that writes directly to SD card

I've been looking for an app that can simply write text notes directly to SD card. Almost like a txt editor. The closest I've found is Text Edit. However, it's too clumsy opening a txt and saving it every time. I'd like an app that just lists all notes on the screen where I can simply tap, edit, and it autosaves on the SD card.

I'm tired of those apps that require you manually backup your notes on the SD card every now and then. Not reliable.

Is there such an app?

Thank you!

Have a look at 'TxtPad'.

Via app's settings you can put a save button on the note's screen.

And you can set the default saving place on the SD card.

But the app is a very simple note pad, no fancy things there
So are the app's access rights: Only SD card
