Default Tasks in calendar

Hi all,

i am trying to get tasks to show in my calendar. eg i have a task "phone bob" in my task list for 4pm today. the calendar app then shows this in the correct place, alongside appointments that are natively in the calendar. i have searched the internet all morning and played with rtm, toodledoo, gtasks etc, and connot see how to show them in the calendar.

i am willing to use whatever app / task service to achieve this.

perhaps there's a 3rd party app that can read / write to google calendar and a task service, but i cant find one...

hi tcat007,
Ihad a play with the two apps but not quite what i was looking for.

to further explain what i would like:-
the closest set up i can get, is to have my tasks managed by remember the milk, and add an rtm icalendar feed to google calendar. this allows my dated task to be shown in the calendar.
missing part of the set up is the ability to amend / postpone / complete these tasks from within the calendar app.

i understand that ical is a one way protocol, but hopefully an app can be made that can write to remember the milk so these tasks in the calendar can be amended.

Its because Google Calendar is not integrated to have a task function. What I do is use Android Agenda Widget, which is able to show all my Calendar events and Astrid tasks in one heading (day). I can also use the widget to add events. Basically two apps show output in a single widget.
