Hi all,

There is a small application in the market "Face of Ring". I am an author. Please use it for free and give me your feedback. Thanks.

This is description from the market:

App can turn off ring vibration while phone is positioned horizontally. When you have a meeting, put the phone face down to turn off its ringing. Soft vibration informs you about a call. Turn over it to check caller identity and place the phone face down again if desired.

- improved user interface for main screen. Thanks to great UI designer Unguided (http://www.unguided.ru)
- bug fixed: some times state is not changed.

I can`t launch it, keeps crushing. I have non-rooted TMO G1 with RC-9.

I tried the "out of service" feature ... I heard the alert .... but if I had not been paying attention I would have missed it ... There should be an Alert in the Notification Bar for Lost and then for regain it should clear the alert ... and possibly log the date and time of the outage with a total duration of loss of service ...
Even more fancy would the last know cell tower ID ...

justjimjpc, out of service is not primary feature of the app. If you want it, please use "No Signal Alert" application. In Face of Ring app this feature was implemented in a minimum mode And i don't see any reason to repeat whole "No Signal Alert" functionality.

- You can change the rington of alerts
- You can see other "out of service" icon notification on the top right corner (near the battery icon)
- If you need to know "How long i am in the dead zone?" and it really helps you - there is "No Signal Alert" for your suit

But current feature is enough functionality for me and i think for 80% of users.

You can choose.
