Default Location-based Apps

I've been digging this Shopkick app I found a few weeks back. The concept is pretty neat, like a dog whistle is blown into the participating store to trigger my app to give me kicks when I walk in!

I've been doing some holiday shopping over the past few weeks and this app has been highly entertaining. Anyone know of anything like this that I can download? (preferably free)

ooo i love shopkick! i have been to targets and best buys doing my shopping and for christmas and its such a fun app!

i also like foursquare alot, the badges are pretty cool as far as location apps go.

since you are from Michigan you might want to try out mobibo it sends out deals based on location and pays a quarter each time they are viewed!!!

if anyone knows any other cool ones id love to know!

I just released an app called SilentMe that uses your GPS. you set locations on the map in our app and everytime you go back to that location it will automatically turn your phone to vibrate or silent (depending on what you want per location) and when you leave the app then will turn your phone back to original settings.
It's only .99 and i have put a lot of work in to make sure that its totally worth a buck.
