Default App to See if Your Phone Has Carrier IQ - No Root Required

Lookout came out with an APP to determine if your phone has Carrier IQ installed on it. For more info on Carrier IQ check out THIS article. Basically it's a program that logs everything you do on your phone, including every keystroke, and then sends the info out.

I posted a link to the Voodoo app yesterday but the description says that it is not complete and cannot be blindly trusted.

Voodoo has already had 2-3 updates since release. It's by a guy from xda. I'd trust it at least as much as anything from Lookout. Very possible neither one is 100% trustworthy yet.

Very true, TrevE (the guy who found the Carrier IQ stuff) from XDA also has an app but it only works on rooted phones.

What is his app? I would imagine that since Trevor found it then his app would be the most accurate??? Right?

You have to download it through XDA, I'll find it and post a link.

Edit: HERE is a link to the post on the XDA forums with the app. Below is the QR code from the link so you can download the app directly to your phone.
