This is more of a review of all the .10 cents apps that have been on sale (as opposed to threads about them going on sale) . I'm interested in what apps you all have purchased, and how you are enjoying them. The .10 cent price makes them even more valuable, but now that you've tried them, would you have paid the regular price? What .10 cent apps do you think have been the best of the bunch?
So I will start it off. I just found out today about the sale, so I missed out on any previous apps that went on sale. I'm very curious to hear what I may have missed out on...
Today I purchased Tetris, ADW EX, Blue Skies and Reckless Get Away.
Tetris - It's Tetris, everyone knows about this game. It's an all time classic as long as it plays well on your phone platform. In my case it does (SGS2). This will be my 'go to' game whenever I find myself waiting in line or waiting on the wife.
Reckless Get Away - I havent played it yet, because upon opening the app it stated that it was going to download to my SD card. Problem is, I dont have an SD card yet. Instead it appeared to start downloading directly to my phone. I had to stop because memory space is too valuable.
ADW EX - I have briefly played with this, and I must admit it seems a little confusing. In short, this app seems to allow total customization of the home screen, pages, widgets, and who knows what else. Those reasons alone, is why I left my iPhone behind. The little I have seen, it looks pretty awesome and I cant wait to learn how to use this. On a negative note, I have noticed that the 'Messaging Icon' is no longer responding when I launch this app. Kind of disappointed in that. I'm hoping it's a bug and gets fixed quick because I need to text!
Blue Skies - In short, it's a live wallpaper of moving clouds in the sky. It looks really cool, and has a few customization to really trick it out a bit. I like seeing the skyline in real time from my environment (Night time, the moon comes out, etc.)This app takes advantage of your beautiful screen and dual core processor, and isnt that why you bought it?

Amazon looks like they're matching the prices. I bought Tetris over there for .10 because the Market said it's not compatible with either of my tablets. Bought it off Amazon and installed it with no problems. Looks great on my Tab.
I picked up the items in Red on Day 2 - they had not rolled back prices and this is when I found out about the sale. Items with a x2 I bought for me and my wife. I have yet to try Paper Camera so I can't really provide input on it. Sound Hound is something I have used before and like - I just figured I'd be happy to pay the 10 cents to get the non-free version. Asphalt 6 was purchased for my 8 year old - but he hasn't had a chance to use it yet due to being grounded from games for a while. I tried it and I suck at it or it sucks. I think the former is more likely than the latter. None of these are items that I think I would have paid full price for. The delta between paid and unpaid SoundHound is hard to really pin down, and the others I have little interest in but at the promo price they were worth the gamble.
Of these Beautiful Widgets was the clear winner for me. I bought a copy for me and my wife - really well worth it. I had been using Fancy Widgets (free) and it's good but not as good in some ways. I really like the Toggle options that I got from Beautiful Widgets - the timed silence option is a gem. I would have bought this at full price had I known all the features. Fruit Ninja - while cute - is a bit of a let down as far as I can tell. It's just that I expected more - something with levels and twists and turns not just a frenzied dash. I would not repurchase this at full price. Star Chart seems a little unresponsive - but so does Google Sky on my D2G - the accuracy of where I'm pointing is pretty shaky. I'm not sure if I would buy this at full price - but I am not ruling it out yet. I like the nighttime mode (red on black) which is a big plus if you are actually planning to look at stars. Reckless Racing is another game purchased with the 8 year old in mind - I suck at this one also. I would not have purchased it at full price.
I picked up ADW EX Launcher on a whim. I like the idea of an alternate launcher and wanted to tinker with it. So far I like it. I came from a Palm Pre Plus and I like the App Drawer being horizontal if I want it and paged if I want it. I would probably pay full price but I need to tinker longer to tell.
I had problems on one or two of the apps I picked up on the other days - each time I just retried a few times and it worked fine. I have not tried today. In all cases I picked these up via the Phone's own Market app.
So I will start it off. I just found out today about the sale, so I missed out on any previous apps that went on sale. I'm very curious to hear what I may have missed out on...

I got quite a few of them so far, but my two favorite are Beautiful Widgets and ADW Launcher Ex it is absolutely amazing!!!

I noticed this as well. Looks like it pushed Tetris to the top of their paid app list.
Jumped on ADW EX (Go launcher seems a little slower these days.) Also got Homerun Battle.

Finally decided to grab ADW EX and also got Shazam today .. great deal because I was planning on buying both Soundhound and Shazam after the new year *woot*
All of these were, wth, it's 10 cent purchases. Fieldrunners was a lot better then I thought it would be - I usually don't like TD, but it's pretty entertaining, I probably would have paid the $3. Paper camera is a neat novelty, but I wouldn't have bought it for full price. Soundhound seems to work well, but don't know how often I'll use it. Don't see what all the fuss about minecraft is. Asphalt 6 I need to get used to the steering on, but seem to be a decent racer. Haven't really tried GLWG that much.
Recklass Racing I jut don't get the point of... I liked Reckless Getaway on Day 3, so I went back and got it while it was 10 cents. Oh well. Flick Golf is okay, but not really golf, more crazy spins to guide the ball in.
Reckless getaway isn't bad and reminds me of hot pursuit. I would have never bought Tetris for whatever it is normally (like 3$? I might have paid 99 cents), but couldn't resit for 10 cents. Touch controls work surprisingly well, but has some quirks. Space physics I can see the potential in but just isn't good for me. Can knockdown is okay for what is, don't know how much I'll be playing it. I had already bought Fruit Ninja for 99 cents and don't regret that.
Everything else on this list seemed preatty much duplicates (like, I don't know why I would need Shazam and Soundhound) so I just got Spirit. It's a quirky game, I still don't quite get the controls. It might grow on me though.
Zynga Drop 7 is a fun and addictive puzzler I would have paid the normal price for. Apparatus seems a lot like crazy machines, but I didn't play it that much. Age of Zombies is a standard dual stick 3rd person shooter. Haven't tried Sims yet but didn't want to miss it at 10 cents.
Day 6: Captain America - Sentinel of Liberty, Jenga, BackStab HD, Sim City Deluxe
Jenga is a preatty accurate recreation, which I got for curiosity's sake... but I don't really see the point versus playing the real game, none of the suspense is really there. I haven't gotten the downloads to complete for the other games yet.
Day 7: Doodle Jump, Block Breaker 3
Doodle Jump is an entertaining time waster, but I can't see myself playing it for more then a little bit at a time. Block Breaker I'm not sure what to make of. I love Arkanoid, but there is something just... off about this version. Plus, it seem to be very battery hungry.
Day 8: Where's My Water?, Train Conductor 2: USA
Where's My Water? I wasn't sure of at first because it looked like a kids game. But it's actually a well thought out, great puzzler. Would have paid the the 99 cents for it. Train Conductor is okay but repetitive.
Day 9: Sleepy Jack
Reminds me a lot of Supersonic, but with shooting. Controls very well with the slide controls. Seems to be one of those games I would play occasionally then forget about.
Favorites so far:
Fieldrunners HD, Drop 7, Where's My Water?

ADW Launcher EX + Beautiful Widgets = Sense in the trashcan.
I grabbed a bunch of the games. Because well...they're 10 cents. Some of them are good, IMO. I already had Reckless Getaway and I enjoyed it, so Reckless Racing was a no brainer. GLWG is a good game. Tetris because...well...it's tetris and what else can a dime alone buy?
So far: SoundHound Infinity, SwiftKey X (x2), Beautiful Widgets, ADW LauncherEX (x2).
I have used the free version of SoundHound since I got my phone and like it alot so I was excited to see it on the list. I'm liking SwiftKey but thinking I might also try Thumb out. BW and ADW Launcher EX are my two favorite ones so far. I hope tomorrow brings some better apps and I cant wait to see the other deals. I thought about getting Shazam on Amazon since they are matching the market prices but decided against it.
Got Pano. Simple Panorama camera app. It requires that you line up the shots manually. You can take up to 16 shots side by side. There is a guide on the left side of the screen to help you line up shots. Fairly easy to get used to it. A bit low tech compared to dedicated panorama camera's but if you are creative you can create some interesting "collage" shots with Pano
I just got Beautiful Widgets today. So far have only tried the 4x2 clock/weather widget. I'm using it at the moment, but really liked the free Fancy Widgets 4x2 clock I used before. Will give this some time to figure out if I like any if the themes and if there are any other widgets I might like.
Was looking for a music app and have heard good and bad about SoundHound and Shazaam. Mind if I ask what phones your using since they seem to sometimes not get along with some. I am on a bionic (insert sarcastic joke here lol)
