Default Best Backup Solution?

So I have been using Titanium Backup Pro for over a year now, and have tried My Backup Pro before that. But I just wanted to get some feedback and see what users around here use to backup apps and data, when flashing a new rom.

Any suggestions? Or is Titanium Backup still the absolute best?

I think Titanium Backup is still the way to do for backing up and restoring apps and data.

That's what I had figured, I just thought I would ask.

I tried both and like TB as it's more detailed. My Backup Pro simply does one big zip file of your apps/data but if you only want certain apps to install, than you would have to uninstall the apps you don't want. I do use my backup pro to back up everything other than the apps.

That's what I had found as well. Both are great applications, but each work better in their own way.

Btw congrats on hitting 9K Roze.

Has anyone tried Ultimate Backup Pro? It looks like it might be a good competitor for Titanium Backup. I might buy it just to compare the two.

I have been using app extractor lately. It is able to pull apps and settings right out of my nandroid backup. Since the nandroid includes everything and I do one before any risky changes, I don't have to worry that I forgot to back something up. It also does a good job with SMS / MMS.
