k-9 mail sync question (IMAP)
k-9 mail, IMAP account.
I'm trying to understand what 'Sync message from last xx' means. I want to keep email several months old on my phone, but they're not changing on the server, so I don't need to sync them. However, when I changed 'sync message from ...' to 1 day, and powered down, then back up the next day I didn't have any email in my folders. I thought that they would be stored on my phone so I could still access them? But it looks like what is available is only what is being synced. Looking for understanding...
