Default Gmail App questions

When I had my Epic I remember being able to customize my Gmail notification for everytime I got a new email. I was also able to setup a custom signature. Currently it doesn't let me do either. In fact, there are virtually no setting adjustments at all. Did they change it recently?

No you can still do so, open your Gmail, click om menu, go to more, settings/tap on your Gmail account, all your settings are there, and to create a custom notification, click on label to notify, then hit inbox and set your notification sound.
