Default Full screen news widget

Hi,

I've got a screen spare on my Hero and really wanted a full screen news widget that I could just glance at to keep up to date rather than navigating menus. Either that or a scrolling rss ticker if such a thing exists.

Thanks in advance

Perhaps paid app AnyRSS. The largest widget is half-screen, *but* it includes arrows, so you can easily view news items with one tap.

This isn't a full screen widget but check out these apps from mippin on the android market such as news buzz, mobile buzz, tech buzz and others by them. Awesome widgets for news

Cheers guys - will check them out.

Anyrss seems pretty cool, only shortcoming is when you click the link you cant see most of the story, you then need to open in a browser. If this had the UI of newsroom it would rock.

When I bought my phone (HTC Inspire 4G) it had a full screen news widget (Yahoo). I removed this to put something else there and cannot get it back. When I click on the news widget now, it comes back as an icon. Any ideas as to how I can make it full screen?
