it's really none of his business (except really inappropriate stuff maybe, but even then not really) what you search in your own time unless you want it to be/are searching how to build bombs...

I don't necessarily agree with it being none of his business. The fact that the OP even suspects spying means there are serious trust issues in this relationship though.
OP, if you're THAT worried about it, you can always reset the phone back to its factory settings, though it'll wipe out all your other data in the process.
All the people telling her to get a new boyfriend.....like you have never looked at the history of your girlfriend/boyfriend......Its not like he stole her password and is reading her emails....just looking at the history.
As soon as you click on the address bar, the history can pop up, or as soon as you start typing, there it is! Relax people.
He is probably just seeing your search or browser history.
Depends what browser you are using, you can make it so that it clears the search and history every time you close the application (Dolphin HD gives you the option each time you close the internet).

I just want to throw out there, there are programs that can do these type of things. I have them installed on all of my devices for tracking/anti-theft purposes.
One way to check is to see if there are any programs listed as an administrator in the settings menu.
I use Dolphin Browser HD and on that if you hit Menu > Exit it asks if you want to delete history etc. I'd do things that way.
But why would the bf of the OP be checking her browsing history anyway? My wife has a Wildfire S and Macbook Pro, both of which I "look after" in terms of setting up/recovering from errors etc but I would never dream of checking up on what she's been looking at on the internet.
Once the spy software is installed it runs hidden ans silent. from anywhere all he needs to do is login to a online acct. and he will see all your activities. that includes chats txt emails online activity recordings of your calls. location anf listen in real time what's going on around the phone. ohh and of course activate your phone camera.
