I thought I would get cute and try to adjust my stock calendar for my bionic. I have a rooted phone and titanium so I deleted the calendar app. Turns out the silly thing is a system app so all other calendars require the stock one to be installed. (at least from what I can see, the other calendars wont work)

So I am attempting to reinstall the calendar with ADB but the calendar.apk I have seems to be incompatible. At least that is what I think. I am getting the error message "install failed shared user incompatible"

So I am looking for the bionic calendar apk. or another way to fix this


One option is that I have access to another bionic. is there a way i can root that and strip the apk? or is the apk some kind of install file in a specific format used only for install???

Still new to android and rooting.... not new to hacking, so its just a quick learning curve
