Is there any app that will allow texts to POP UP in the middle of Android screen, immediately reply and keep doing whatever I was doing?

I don't very often have iPhone envy but whenever I see someone's text just pop up and they answer immediately in front of the open app, no switching required, just read, reply, send and resume whatever they were doing...I DO!

I use Google Voice so this also needs to be compatible with GV and from what I can tell Handcent is NOT compatible with GV.

Have you tried GoSMS? You could also take a look at SMS Popup.

Both handy apps although not sure if they integrate with GV though.

I recommend GoSMS over handcent, but as Elpresidente stated no idea about integration with GV...

Go SMS Pro, I believe has that option, and it works well as a stock SMS app replacement.
