Default Screenshot???

Hi all,

I have a motorola Droid Razr with Android 2.3.5 and was wondering if there is a way to take screenshots on it. I've tried an app called screen grabber and it doesn't work. Does anyone know how to do it??? Thanks in advance

Try pressing home+power key. Screen shot apps in the market need your phone to be rooted for them to work.

You can screen shot on an unrooted Captivate Glide by pressing the power and home key at the same time. Doesn't work on the Razr though

not all apps need root for screenshot, Google made that possible in one of the Gingerbread updates (i think 2.3.3 but not completely sure).

On my Bionic I use Screengrabber.

Wouldn't pressing the home and power key for that bring the screen to the homepage during/after the screenshot?

Not if you do it right. On my SGS I have back+home key as screenshot and no it doesn't go back.

You can take screenshots with the SDK without being rooted.

However, MyPhoneExplorer allows you to do it and is probably a lot easier to install/use than the SDK.
