Default GO Launcher EX "got it" tips keep popping up

After about an hour or so, or when I restart, the "Got It" operations guide insists on showing me some feature I already know. It's more annoying that ads... because ad's fund things and this is just a problem with the app remembering who I am. or something.

Anyways, I want to know how to rid myself of Go Launcher EX tip screens when I scroll my home icon bar, preview my workplaces, hide apps, and apply gestures.

Go to settings/preferences then find the pop up settings then uncheck it.

Where is that located at? I've been through every option except the ones in my GMail. Even SpareParts+ doesn't have an option to turn off the help guides.

Are you sure this fixed it?

The deeper I go, I more issues I discover. Mainly, who the heck wrote the "About" sections with the Q&A. I found 6 misspelled words. When dealing with code, the difference between ' and ` is enough to halt a program.

My issue still remains: Operations Tips keeps bugging me. In the past 15 minutes playing with it, I've seen maybe 50 of them.

Im going to do a full reset and just pretend that Go Launcher doesn't exist if I can't rid theme things.

I can't even get the tips to appear again after I close them! LOL. And I have the newest version! That is indeed weird.

I've uninstalled, cleared data, cache, etc. Now I'm playing with other launchers and I still feel that GO Launcher EX is the best. This issue is fairly new. As of 2 days ago and I was using GO Launcher EX for a week before this started.

Should I do a complete phone data reset to defaults and reinstall and reconfigure everything??? I really dont want to do that but I think I'm going to. I'm a neat freak when it comes to my systems.

Anyways, it looks like the Android community is pretty weak when it comes to geeks. Seems like any help is pretty ineffective, even after a day of googling every combination i can think of and went no more than 40 pages deep every search. No dice.

Maybe it's a permission issue... which seems to need root to fix. FAIL

anyways, if I click "Got It" one more time, I'm gonna reset my phone completely

I don't always get the "got it" screen after an update. Are you updating from the Market? There is not a setting to stop pop ups that I could find... I have High quality dwg, System Persistent and prevent Force Close checked, but I doubt that's the problem.

Try doing the GO back-up, then uninstalling. Reinstall from Market, then restore. I only get that pop-up once per update (which is quite often, seems about every other day lately). You may have to add a few apps back on your screens, but a restore should put any shortcuts and icons back.
