Default GOSMS Pro notification and keyboard..

Is there a setting with GO SMS Pro that makes it so the screen doesn't turn on when a new sms comes in? All I want is the LED to flash. Having the screen turn on is a waste of battery...

Also, each time I send a message the keyboard automatically "hides".. so if I want to send a second message right away, I have to tap the input box to bring the keyboard back. I'm currently using Swype if that makes a difference.

Thanks!

K

In GOSMS, go to Settings > Advanced > Notification Settings. Scroll down to Screen Settings and uncheck the box for Screen On.

Not sure about the keyboard thing. I'm using the Android keyboard and I don't think I have that problem. Try switching keyboards (if you can) to see if it still happens. That way you'd know if it's a conflict with Swype.

--Edit--
My keyboard hides too. I guess it never bugged me enough to notice.

I can't believe I missed the "Screen On" box there.. I swear I looked all the menus a dozen times.

Thanks!

Oh, NP. It's a setting I like so I keep it on.
