Is the smart wifi option overruled when you have wifi set to on when the screen unlocks? Also the wifi seems to come on randomly... I had it off and just as I was tying this I got a notification that it found a network...

Seems that it's messing with my data now too. Originally I had it set to turn off data when I lock the screen but my gf is trying to send me a picture messsage but since my data is off it expires. I now have data on all the time but it keeps turning off anyway! Has anyone had this problem before?

Connections that occur due to Smart WiFi stay enabled regardless of screen state. I guess you should only use Smart WiFi for places like Home and Work. I also deselect WiFi in the 'when screen is unlocked' section now that Smart WiFi is out.

You cannot receive MMS when data is off but I know that they will add data auto-enable when an MMS is received in the future.

Thanks for the info. I'm just going to leave smart wifi off so. Does the white list only apply to data? I've been listening to internet radio but if the screen turns off the radio stops after 10-15 seconds. I would like to be able to turn it off to save battery.
