Question LF App to send/receive SMS from PC

As the topic says, I've tried several apps that do this but none of them are great, wondering if anyone has any more suggestions.

PDAnet & SMS2PC both disconnect repeatedly throughout the day and require you to go on to your phone and restart it, which defeats the point of the application.

I've tried several browser based apps too and they all seem slow and buggy, so useless.

Does anyone know of any more apps for this?

I use MyPhoneExplorer if I'm at the PC and want to send a text message (SMS .... ). Client on the pc and app on the phone - I connect via wifi.

MPE is much more useful than that though as it syncs my contacts/calendar/notes/tasks with Outlook and syncs my MP3s with my PC.

As for disconnectin - you'll need to make sure your wifi on the phone doesn't shut down - most do when the screen goes off.

Please take a look at PhoneLeash. Here's a detailed app announcement. Even though you'll find PhoneLeash under the "SMS forwarding" category, you can reply to incoming SMS from a PC. So it should address your needs. As to reliability see this.

(I am not sure I know what "LF app" stands for, hopefully my response is appropriate!)

I think MobiTexteris exactly what your requirement is. Just install App on your phone and forget it. Now Send, read, reply SMS from your PC only. This app uses Google cloud service and is very quick.
