Default Handcent no longer delays sending

I have Handcent set to delay sending for several seconds to allow me to look over my hastily composed, poorly keyed sms messages before they leave my phone. Over the past week or so I've noticed that the delay stopped working -- the messages just go when I press "send".

I've rebooted and futzed around with the delay settings. No joy. Is there something going on here that I don't know about or some secret that I need to learn to make this work again?

Thanks.

Im confused. Why can't you just review them before you hit send?

You've obviously never watched me work. At any rate, I've discovered that Handcent has settings for individual recipients (open a thread and click the icon in the upper rh corner). For some reason, changing global settings does not affect individual settings. This discovery has clarified a couple of things and all is now well. Thanks. Mark
