Default Appointments to/from contacts

HELP! Is there an app out there that will enable me to make appointments in my calendar direct from my address book (and vice versa if you get my drift!) I have downloaded Contact Events but this is a bit cumbersome as you have to open CE select yr contact then create single event. There is no option to create multiple events unless they are regular (weekly/ daily etc.) As a driving instructor I just wanna go into my calendar select a day and time and be able to "create an driving lesson with" (entry in my contacts). My phone is an HTC Desire and I have gmail syncing etc. I have searched the market and googled etc but to no avail (needless to say I am a bit of an old fogey and semi technophobic!!)

Thanks in anticipation of your collective wisdom

In my stock Samsung Calendar, when I go create an event, there is a field for "Participants" when you scroll down. You can add people from your address book there. Is there none on your calendar app?

thanks for the reply. No I only have an option to invite attendees to a meeting via e-mail, which is not a fat lot of use in my line!! I'll have a look at the Samsung as maybe I need to change my phone?!

Maybe there's an app that does what you need, but I can't be sure. You'll have to change your phone if you want Samsung's TouchWiz calendar.

I use Business Calendar Free which doesn't have that option, but the Pro version apparently does ...
