I downloaded this lock screen app assuming it would be cool but i failed to read most of the comments that shed some light on the fact that it wont uninstall. When i go to settings and go to administrator whatever its called it doesnt even show up. I downloaded an uninstaller app and it doesnt even show up. Its really obnoxious because everytime i press the home icon it goes to the stupid lock screen. Someone please help.

what lockscreen app are we talking about here anyway? There's lots of them.

OP, it's also helpful to mention what model phone you have, or better yet list it in your profile. This way, we can give you steps that are specific to your model of handset (how to delete apps for example, in case you missed a step in drilling through your settings), or point you to the sub-forum for your device. And to address your issue, have you tried going to the app's Market page to uninstall it?

Settings > Location and security settings > Select device administrators > uncheck that app... that’s usually the hangup.

How on earth does one delete a post? The edit button highlights edit/delete, but when I go there, ain’t no delete button nowhere.

I have a sumsung galaxy II skyrocket. And when i go to device administrator nothing shows up.
