Installed this today - great improved over the older one. MUCH faster then the default browser, but a bit less functional. Fun to mess around with at least!

i posted this in the other opera mini thread, why not here

if you want to import your bookmarks

install opera desktop on your pc

import from your existing browser (ie, ff, etc)

sign up for opera link free

sync your bookmarks

go into app on phone

settings>opera link

sign in

sync

done

**I dot not use opera on my PC but I did just do this, and then uninstalled opera desktop on my pc, took all of 5 minutes.**

There was another Opera Mini thread? I apologize. I was overwhelmed with excitement when I stumbled upon it and POOF, posted this thing. Didn't even say anything in the Thread Suggestions. :\

Still haven't begun the download. I'm in a library made of solid concrete and brick and I get negative bars. -_-

I was using this brower and for some reason the images do not look nearly as good as with the standard browser, images look very pixelated and Opera doesnt have the pinch and zoom, that alone makes me want to stay away from it, Opera is more user friendly though

You can go into the settings (wrench icon-> settings) and improve the image quality, at the expense of load time. It uses a proxy to pre-render the text and images which is why it is so fast.

It would be awesome if Opera would implement multi-touch, but I wouldn't bet on it, since it's really a mulit-platform browser (blackberry, winmo, android)...

Like it so far. Its lightning compared to the stock browser on my european Hero ... and I like it better than HTC Sense's offering too.

It'll be my browser of choice until Firefox finally appears ....
