Default Instagram is not compatible with my phone?

Hello,

I have Android 2.2.2 on my phone ( Samsung Transform) and when I went to the play store I get this message "This item is not compatible with your device".

Has any one else had this problem?

A requirement of this app is "Works with Android versions 2.2 and above that support OpenGL ES 2". Probably your phone does not support OpenGL ES 2.0?

Instagram worked perfectly fine on my Desire 2.2.2. before I factory resetted and formatted my SD card. It gives me the same error now.. How is this possible?

look for details of theGPU in gsmarena, then search for GPU specs. But I think yours is compatible. Isn't the transform a galaxy s?

I have been doing some research and found the below snippet!

"the Transform's S3C6410 processor doesn't support hardware acceleration for OpenGL. "

I solved the problem on my end; I updated the market manually to Google Play (via a APK) and the message dissapeared. Instagram is installed again.
