Emulator not working

Hello Friends,

When I click "Start" on my AVD Manager, the android emulator doesn't open? What can be the problem?

Another question: Is it necessary to keep the application's java files in the same folder in which android-sdk folder resides?

Please help!!!

I had API 15.... When I downloaded API 8, it is working :/
