Hello folks!

I have a question regarding the 'searching people you know' section of Instagram. The app gives you the option to search for your friends from Facebook, Twitter and your Phonebook contacts.

I wouldn't like my phonebook contacts being able to find me on Instagram. The app gives you an option to put your phone number in... I left this blank, assuming it would disable people searching via their Phonebook to be able to find me, but they were still able to discover my profile. I then tried adding a random number in my account (0777777775) or something like that. Still, I got the same result and was still discoverable through Phonebook searching.

Is there a way to disable people from being able to find your Instagram profile via Phonebook search?
