Default Android to PC Remote Display

Hi all,
I'm brand new and have a question. Does anyone know of a simple app. to display my phone screen to my PC desktop. I don't need to control it from the PC, just display it.
Thanks!

Although Android is Linux based, it doesn't use X11 so AFAIK remote display in either direction isn't possible.

Moved this to the Android Applications forum so perhaps someone here can help you find the answer you're looking for.

All the apps I have seen so far that do this require a rooted phone: Remote Web Desktop, Webkey, AirDroid. So I'm not sure you can do it from a non-rooted phone.

I do vaguely recall trying this method a while back: Android Screencast, and it worked, but I'm not sure if I had a rooted phone at the time or not.
