I loaded Car Finder AR, and it works great! It cost a couple of bucks but well worth it, as it saves a lot of frustration waiting for Carrr Matey to eventually get around to allowing me to drop anchor.

Thanks for the recomendations!

My wife is my "car finder", if she's not with me, I could see needing an app like this (malls, concerts, airports). Do any of them work off GPS alone (do not need wifi or 3G connection)? I typically carry my Galaxy Player with me, and I would think it would be easy to have an app that pinpoints using GPS and then shows that to you without a connection. Or do they all work this way?

I was in Sorrento Italy a couple years ago. Had to park a looong way from where we were eating, and then there were delays etc so while we arrived at our destination in daylight, it was nighttime before we were able to return to the car. So there we were wandering these hilly narrow roads in darkness in a maze of unfamiliar streets in a foreign nation looking for a rental car.... yeah, I can see where a car locator might come in handy.

Except for yourself, of course lol

Default New car finder app: Arrow

Another interesting car finder app is Arrow. It is the first Android App that automatically saves your parking spots. You don’t have to get your phone out and save the location, Arrow does everything for you. Just start it when you can't find your car, and Arrow will show you where you parked.

Yes, I am the developer. If you have any questions or comments please feel free to post here or email. There is an in-app option to send an email and you can find contact information on the homepage and the market page. Please do not post problems in the market reviews, since I can not respond to them and fix them.

Thanks for your interest!
