Hi, Hope someone can help me.
I bought an LG E400 to try android before I tie myself into a contract on a better Android Handset (instead of the iPhone the OH wants me to get!!)
My problem is this....
I seem to have 3 x storage "drives"
External drive - 8gb card for music, pics, vids
Internal memory - 1gb, that I have put some apps on (the ones that are moveable)
System memory - 157mb, already containing the installed system files
Some (most) of the apps I have downloaded will only install on the system memory - which with just the addition of Facebook and twitter and AVG antivirus ( is full.
How can I install on the 1gb internal memory?? Everything says it's not moveable...OR how can I uninstall the surplus Google Apps (Books, +, etc). Is the only way to root the device?
Whilst I'm prepared to try this on a £50 PAYG handset, I don't want that to be the only option on a contract phone.
Please say it can be done....don't make me have an iPhone please
