Default Fitness Applications?

So I've been trying out a couple of fitness applications, and have been referred to MyTracks and CardioTrainer. So far, I've tried both and I've really liked what CardioTrainer has to offer with their voice command and race against yourself option. Anyone has insight as to what other good ones are out there? I've also tried BuddyRunner but it really doesn't offer much of anything different, especially when every "update" that is released by them doesn't really actually yield any noticable changes...

Edit:
If your interested in either MyTracks or CardioTrainer, you can learn more about them at their websites or just download them. I highly recommend CardioTrainer right now as it seems to be the better of the few I have tried. You can find them at their website About - WorkSmart CardioTrainer

I just use the website dailyburn, which can also track nutrition, measurements, and give estimates of calories burned when you don't have a machine that does it for you.

Dailyburn is for tracking fitness, not for tracking how far you ran in what timeframe.

I used to use Gyminee aka Dailyburn and its good, but not the same.

I made couple of roadbike workouts with Sportypal here is my last one:

http://www.sportypal.com/Workouts/Details/4224

The good with sportypal is my community especially my friends community. Most of my friends have iPhones and Blackberries but still thru www.sportypal.com I can share the workouts and results with them

Can anyone come up with a consensus comparing each apps features? I dont have my phone yet ><

Also for those of you interested in running with your magic (im assuming that since its flash, running shouldnt have any affect on the hardware) then I just bought this online - A004 Arm band Sport Case Pouch f. This is what I think so far.

I gave both above mentioned apps a try yesterday doing some driving. I must admit they both have good/pro's and cons between the two.

I think that SportBuddy apps is slick and the website is even slicker.

CardioTrainer is a little simpler on the interface, but straight to the point as well as the web interface.

If I was to pick an app soley on the app its self I would say CardioTrainer, but If I was to pick the web interface it would be SportBuddy.

So Now I'm 50/50 at the moment. I haven't tried the voice command and a race against yourself feature in CardioTrainer yet, but I will. I'm not a huge runner, biker, but honestly things like these apps pushing you I might take up some. Lord knows I can really use it. If the race against yourself works as well as I hope it then it might be a winner.

Any ways that's my 2cents on the subject so far.

This this is the armband I bought, but haven't tried it since it hasn't arrived, but the see through is supposed to be usable, but time will tell.

The good with free applications is you can try each of them and you can choose what you fits the best. Some of the best features on CT are NOT free, best features in Tracks, Buddy runner and Sportypal ARE FREE.

For me most IMORTANT MOMENT is ability of www.sportypal.com to receive workouts from different phones or different GPS devices which gives me CHOICE, also good at SPORTYPAL is community, it is not just Android community, Iphone community or Nokia community it is All phones community. It gives a comparisons and shares between the PEPLE no matter of their phones.

Kizer, in all fairness, Buffman was asking about fitness.

Thanks for all the replies! I've come with the result that I'm probably going to stick with CardioTrainer because, although its best applications are not free, these applications are nonexistant in what the others have to offer.

Essentially, while Tracks, BR, and SP may be free, they don't offer the extra features that CT does. And being a man with a decent paying job, $3 - 6 isn't a whole lot for me to fork over for the extra additions that CT provides. It's a whole lot better than paying $300+ for a sports watch.

Congratulations Buffman you made a choose to use CT, as I made to choice Rollerblade :-) Some people choose to use 300+ watches,
Some people choose BR some people choose SPORTYPAL

Wonderful, wonderful world.....truth is important, choice is important, freedom is important……….I’m free to choose the truth. J

Hm, after trying out SportyPal and CardioTrainer, I think I will stick with CardioTrainer because I'm not a real big fan of blue.

I really like the flow of SportyPal, but honestly CT has the built in compete with your self function that I have not tried, but will this weekend. I'm rather lazy and if I have a running buddy even thou its an app is a lot of modivation.

I've used CardioTrainer and Buddy Runner for logging my morning running.

They both do more or less the same. But Cardiotrainer posts the result on my facebook page, where as Buddy Runner makes the result my status so it appears in peoples feeds.

So at the minute, I prefer Buddy Runner. Purely because I want my friends to see how hardcore I am going running at 5.30am!!
