Default Adroid access to non-gmail imap server

Is there a way to set up Android to access an IMAP email server that is not Gmail, without having it set up to use Microsoft Exchange?

Yep - I use K-9 Mail (free on the Market) to access my Gmail account via IMAP, plus my Hotmail account (via POP3) plus four of my own domain emails, each via IMAP. Works a treat and as Google IMAP and my domain hosting company both support IMAP push, I get instant email on all the IMAP accounts.

This is exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks.

My wife just loaded, configured, and ran K-9. Works fine except for one thing. Its font is too small for her. Is there a way to change that? Neither of us could figure out how to do that.
