Default Java on Android 2.1?
What's the Java status on Android, in general? I'm asking, because NIST Clock, a well-known Java application, won't run on Android 2.1. For an example, see The official U.S. time - clock

...and it won't run on 2.2 either (MOTO Droid.

What's up with that?
