Default Turn off GO SMS Pro Notice Center?

Is there a way to turn off the "notice center" in GO SMS? It keeps telling me I really should try its own messaging solution, which I'm not interested in.... or when new themes are available.... I just don't care.

How can I stop being pestered by this or do I need to switch apps?

I've looked around and around in the settings, just don't see now to turn this off.

Thanks,

K

I haven't figured it out either. The messages are annoying.

You could try using another app, like Pansi SMS.

I'm just about to give up on GoSMS entirely as it's gotten WAY to bloated and the constant bothering me with spam is just about to be the straw that broke the camel's back.

Settings, Running mode (under default basic tab), change from Pro to Normal.

try this:

GO SMS settings / Important Tips/Open auto health notice center and delete everything . Also try unchecking the enable auto GO SMS health check.

there are several options to choose from. picking the top 2 will disable those chat alerts depending on what other settings you may want to keep. I like the second option as you can keep individual contact settings (notifications and appearance... the different appearance of some contacts keeps me from sending texts to the wrong people which has happened once or twice )

It's under both Basic and Advanced tabs, but it's quicker to find in Basic because there it's not in a sub menu.

I pretty much gave up on it after one of the themes planted a virus in my SD card. Had to completely reset my entire phone. :/

I think I gave up on it the day I posted that or the next day but I haven't looked back. Happier than ever and I don't miss that bloated unstable app a bit. The stock unstable app () works just fine w/o all the bloat or extra advertising.

I logged out of it shortly after it was activated. No more of that stuff anymore.
