What's your favorite app for backing up and restoring SMS, MMS, and call logs? Please include the reasons you like it, any particular features you appreciate, what you were looking for in a backup app.

I have a non-rooted LG Optimus Slider (carrier is Virgin Mobile). I am open to rooting in the future, so I would like to hear about all options. Also OK hearing about separate SMS/MMS apps and call log apps. Interested to know:

• Does the app handle MMS (or is it SMS-only)?
• Does it handle multiple messages (messages that were broken into multiple pieces due to character limits), does it reform them properly?
• If you made multiple backups at different times, and needed to restore from more than one backup (due to accidental deletion of only some messages, for instance), does the app handle this intelligently, without creating duplicates? Is there an option to remove duplicates?
• Are there any other features or issues that would be good to consider when choosing an app?

I also would like to hear about apps you tried and did NOT like, or hear about any backup apps to avoid (again, with your reasons why). Thanks!
