Talk to your service provider (assuming she is a minor on your plan using a phone you paid for. If those aren't all true what you're talking about is probably criminal.) They might have some parental control options that can help you out.
If your provider doesn't have that, you're basically out of luck. For very good and obvious reasons. There is no way to know that the person installing such an app is the user's legal guardian or a stalker. Let's put it this way, would you want anybody with potential access to the phone to be able to copy her messages?
Besides that, if she has something to hide she could easily figure out that you MIGHT be eavesdropping and use other means of communication. And if she doesn't have anything to hide you have no reason to be secret about it.
(FYI I'm really not trying to tell you how to deal with you kid here. Just laying out AN option) You could do it openly, let her know you're setting up an app to monitor her texts. Explain why you're doing it, consequences for trying to evade it, and so forth. That is an option. Secretively doing it really isn't.

If you run certain processes like trackers or phone/text taps on the victim's device, that machine will take a noticeable and annoying battery hit. Noticeable and annoying to the user. Next she will find out what causes it. And who, by putting 2 and 2 together.
That being said: if that phone were permanently charged – so that the owner wouldn't notice the extra battery drain – then you could install an invisible Tasker profile that would collate – for instance once every 24 hours – all her SMS messages and emails of the day, and her call log of the day, and forward them, invisibly in the background, to your device for inspection.
If the teen is not in your legal charge, or 16+, and does not agree to this monitoring then this is a serious crime.

If this is a minor check with your carrier. Often you can track who she is texting and calling, and who is texting and calling her, right from your account online.
This will not give you content of the text, but if it's a child it will tell you who and when.

You cant use android phone without Google account. If she set up her own account then you out of luck. If you entered your account then you can sign in to google voice and port her number to Google voice. Once you do that you will have access her text, calls and even voice mail as well as regular email and see what sort of application she has on her phone. I know that google voice allows you to use built in sms app instead of google voice that way she wont notice anything. You can also put the restrictions on application so she wont be able to install third party sms apps. I would also suggest you to put factory reset password.. Because if she decides to make her phone free she wont be able to detach it from your Google account

You didn't say what service you are with.
And be careful, since I suspect that many of the apps claiming to do this aren't legitimate.

Can't she still associate a different gmail account with the phone (atleast for Google voice and gmail) without factory resetting.
And she will definitely notice that she can't get MMS (picture/video messaging), her voicemail is different (and I believe specifically identifies it as a Google Voice user), and so forth and so on. And it won't be of ANY use if she doesn't use the phone's standard apps to communicate. She certainly could just log into a different email using the browser and communicate that way.
The upshot here is that if she doesn't have anything to hide, there is no reason to be secretive about this. And if she does, she will still have countless ways to hiding whatever she wants to hide from you. The best, most complete surveillance app won't be of any use if she doesn't use the phone for what you want to spy on. She doesn't need to know you're spying on her, she just needs to think you could.
she is 14 and every time i ask to seeher ph she detes all her tex ...so with that I know she is hiding something .... thats why I want to put a spy app on her ph

Just so you know Verizon also allows you to block certain #s from calling and texting, and you can also restrict the hours that the cellphone will even receive calls and texts. This can be done online by signing into your account.
Hope this helps.

Please answer the OP's question and refrain from offering parental advice. We advise on android info., if you want to give parenting advice, there are other fora for that. Please honor my direction. Failure will result further and reluctant action. Thanks!

I just had a thought. Many of the apps that do this are I packages with other services, like phone tracking. You could tell her you're installing the app to track the phone (so you know where she is without bothering her. give her more freedom while still keeping get safe. Etc...) And then use it to read her texts.
That being said (she's your kid, you do what you want. Feel free to ignore my input). It really sounds like she's either just erasing texts she's done with, or annoyed that your snooping and erasing them to spite your efforts (both of which would have been true for me at they agree and o never had anything to hide). If she was really trying to hide texts, why would she call attention to it by erasing all her texts?
The upshot is i would hate for you to sneak around her to spy on her, possibly damaging the trust between her, just to find out she isn't hiding anything.
And again, if you are already looking at her phone on a regular basis (and you think she thinks you're spying) why not tell her about your concerns and tell her you're installing the program.
And again, not looking to get into a discussion on parenting. It's your kid, do what you want and ignore what you want. Just sharing what i know about how kids use technology and what you can do.
