Default How Do You Turn Off USB Charging For a Droid 4

Hey all. I have a Droid 4 that im trying to get music on. My droid is running Version 4.0.4. When i plug my phone into my computer Via Data Cord it charges and wont come up on my computer as a external data drive. how do i turn off the USB charging on my phone? Any help would be appreciated.

You can't turn off USB charging (which is the slow way to charge: 'drip mode'; better for your battery's health) when it is physically connected. But to have the device act as an external volume to your computer you have to go (on Android 4.0.3) to Settings > More... > USB auxiliary apps > USB mass storage, and follow directions.

Where is more? What it is under? and i have 4.0.4 lol

I have 4.0.4 and more is found under wireless and network.

To connect the phone as external drive to the PC, I'd go to the phone's Settings, Connect to PC, Default connection type, Disk drive

4.0.3 and 4.0.4, but HTC phones.
So, might be a HTC Sense settings option ?
