B&N Nook color root

Hi, I am new to this forum. I have a nook color 1.4.3 and want to completely change it or root it to be an android tablet. Meaning I dont want to run android from the sd card; I want that when I turn my nook color on it is an android device. Having said that I have been reading all day and it is so confusing how many links and people showing what to do; can someone tell me or point me to the latest and most stable video or instructions with the files I need to root my nook color 1.4.3?
