Smile How to delete photos on email from phone?

Hello.
I have just got a new Samsung Galaxy Ace. It is running Android version 2.3.6.
Build number GINGERBREAD.XXLH3 Model Number GT-18160 (I don't know what any of these things mean... just trying to give you some information.)

I have connected my hotmail/outlook account to my phone and I was wondering if it were possible to make it so that when I delete/open an email on my phone, it deletes/marks as read online as well. At the moment I'm having to manage two inboxes for the same email account which is frustrating.

Thanks in advance.

Check the email specific account setting on your phone. On my HTC phone, there is an option to do what you want in the options for sending, receiving & reading emails. It could say something like "when deleted from or downloaded to phone, delete from server". My phone email account setting actually has an option check box to "delete from server".

In my smart phone, also there is an option to do what you want in the options for sending, receiving & reading or delete emails. I want to suggest you to check properly for that. It may there.

Email should be set to IMAP for those options to work.

Chanchan05 is correct. POP3 email cannot do what you want. Your email accounts must be setup as IMAP. Then you can set it to sync across all your devices.
