Default Need map app recommendation

Hello all!

I'm in need of an app that'll help me with a project I've undertaken. The goal is to drive every road in my immediate area, looking for old cars laying around and making note of where I find them.

The app should be able to:

- Highlight where I've driven and save the highlights, so I quickly see which roads I have/haven't checked

- Allow me to set, label, and categorize waypoints

- Cache map data for a given area ahead of time, since this is a rural area with poor cellular coverage

Right now I'm using a Samsung M580, but an Android tablet may be available in the near future (haven't decided which one yet).

Any ideas?

Would Google Tracks do what you need it to do?

Most GPS track apps would do that what you want, but you might have a closer look at
BackCountry Navigator
because of its management of its saved tracks.
