Default nothings ever easy cant get jellybean to update

samsung galexy s3 rooted , kept getting messages to update , i finally did, tmobile 335.65mb says congrats hit start , device will be rebooted , then clockwork mod recovery comes up saying e: failed to verify whole file signature e: signature verification failed install aborted at bottom of screen.
at top it offers to install from sd card ,reboot, other options but i dont know where this file downloaded to pls help thanks

Its possibly because you are rooted. Its not adviseable to use official updates when rooted. Things go wonky.

so , then what, can i download it, do i unroot and how, factory restore? but if i factory restore dont i have to reinstall all apps? what folder did this download go to, where do i find and erase 355mb downloaded 2x

Look in the 'All things root' section of the SG3 subforum for how to unroot and other info.

A reset will require reinstalling everything.

You really should have been able to answer these questions yourself before rooting the phone.

i read all forums and no info thats why im asking here, someone said install through kies program didnt work so pls how to update do i just do a factory data reset then install update , then reinstall all programs?

Depends on the exact method you used to unroot. Have you rradbthe original thread were you learned the method you used to root? Some roots can be removed via factory reset. Some needs flashing or use of Odin.
