Default looking for a BB comparable calendar/task app

Hello!
i am new to the forums. i have a Samsung Galaxy S II. i previously had a BB.

i am highly dependent on my calendar daily. i've looked at a couple dozen android apps trying to find one that will do what my BB did.

1. show a task at the actual time it is due that day.

2. show recurring tasks on their future dates in the calendar.

so far all i find are apps with the option to view a day's tasks at the beginning or end of that day but not AT the time of the task, like 11:30 or 2:00. and for recurring tasks, they all seem to show is the current task. i can't look ahead say, a month and see that task again. even when i complete a task set to reoccur, the next occurance doesn't show up in my calendar until the DAY it's due again - so i forget its set for that day and end up scheduling something else at that time, then i'm double booked.

is there an Android app that can do those two things? cause i sure can't find one. i don't want to start paying for app just to see if they work, but i'd gladly pay for an app that i knew would work.

thanks so much for your help.
(i've tried all the popular ones like G Tasks, Astrid, Jorte, ToDo, Pocket Informant, and many others)

so your saying just putting things in Google calendar isn't enough for you?
I use Google calendar for all my appointments and the pure calendar widget on my home screen to show what is coming up in the next few days. And I have it set to open my favorite google calender app if I touch it.

No need to install any app. The calendar app included on the phone (Google calendar) will do what you want.

I use the Google calendar that comes with the phone, and then use "Agenda widget for Android." It's customizable and can display whatever you want, update as often as you want, and the widget is scroll-able to see what's coming up.

Google Calendar and maybe Color Notes also. I use both of those and they work pretty good for me.

i appreciate all the responses. sounds like the consensus is the onboard calendar. this is the calendar i use and my google calendars are synced into it. the issue is a good task app. i currently use google tasks as its the best of all the ones i've tried. but it still doesn't do what i really want (see original post). i suppose i can redo all my tasks as "events" in the calendar itself - it just makes it harder to easily differentiate between an appt and a task. or i could create a separate google calender to use for my tasks. at least then i could make it a separate color. then again, seems like a cumbersome ordeal, but if there isnt another option for integrating tasks into the calendar i'll try it.

thanks again for your help.

Just to be clear, the 'onboard calendar app' IS Google Calendar. That's why your Google calendars sync to it.
